We have hundreds of hours testing our new 4 Stage Oil Separator to ensure the claims and results will exceed your expectations. We even double the size of the oil containment chamber. The Ineffective performance that the competition's 2-chamber catch cans offer just cannot compare. These 2 Chamber Pull Through Oil Catch Can run Generic Screens, Compressor Filters, and Honeycomb Filters such as JLT - Moroso - Mishimoto Catch Cans. These designs reduce cost and deliver a reduction in performance as well. 2 Chamber Designs have been proven to allow as much oil into the intake as they collect in the can still allowing 50% or more of the oil to be ingested filling the manifold and causing detonation / spark knock in the cylinder. Mainly because the design requires a better-engineered diffuser system and not just a simple screen, muffler, or honeycomb filter.
The primary function of an oil separation system is to eliminate fuel degradation and any possibility of engine knock known as detonation from oil entering the combustion chamber. It's not how much you collect in the Catch Can it's how much you stop from exiting the exit stream of the Catch Can. The 4 chamber technology in UPR catch cans captures and filters all the oil vapor and trash from getting into your air intake tract. That's the most important reason for a catch can in the first place!
UPR Clean Side Separator (CSS):
This Clean Side Catch Separator is especially beneficial to modified vehicles with added Superchargers or Turbo kits. As crankcase pressure builds up under BOOST, it will be forced out of the driver side valve cover fitting. This clean side separator will still allow clean air to enter the crankcase as the factory intended, but will catch oil and impurities when crankcase pressure is high, preventing that gunk from getting into your cold air kit and throttle body. Once normal driving resumes, the Clean Side Separator will allow the oil mist to return to the crankcase.
This Clean Side Catch Separator is especially beneficial to modified vehicles with added Superchargers or Turbo kits. This UPR Pro Series catch can kit is shipped ready to install even if no upgrades are selected. Upgrades are available to allow you to tailor the kit to fit your needs.

UPR Billet Pro Series Check Valves:
These are larger higher flowing check valves than the standard check valve. It will increase the vacuum through the catch can and deliver better crankcase evacuation. The improved crankcase evacuation translates to increased MPG and more responsive low speed drivability. The arrow printed on the check valve will always need to face away from the catch can. There is no down side to having a check valve in a Naturally Aspirated (NA) application, and a check valve in required in boosted applications. The larger, higher flowing Pro Series Check Valve also has a hex nut on the body so you can disassemble it for inspection and cleaning.
UPR Adjustable Billet PCV Fitting:
The adjustable Billet PCV fitting includes 4 different size jets. It eliminates the failure prone factory PCV and still allows for the needed restriction. Jet sizes and application basics for Adjustable version are explained below.
» .100 Jet size is slightly more restrictive than the factory PCV fitting to allow you to restrict the PCV for vehicles ingesting too much oil through the PCV and wanting to reduce oil consumption.
» .125 Jet size is slightly less restrictive than the factory PCV fitting to allow you to adjust the pcv to increase flow a bit more than factory for vehicles that only need minor adjustments to eliminate vapor locking in the PCV system.
» .150 Jet size is even less restrictive for the boosted vehicles that tow and are driven harder to increase flow more than factory for vehicles that only need more adjustment to eliminate vapor locking in the PCV system.
» .175 Jet size is the least restrictive compared to the factory PCV fitting and allows for the largest adjustment of the jets for modified vehicles that generate a lot of blow-by / back pressure to eliminate vapor locking / flooding the clean side of the PCV system with oil.
SS Magnetic Drain Plug:
The Stainless Steel magnetic drain plug would replace the drain plug on the bottom of the catch can with an allen head plug that has a magnet embedded into it. It will attract any ferrous metal material to it so the user can inspect it. If you select this option you can not also use the Drain Line kit below.
Replacement O-Rings:
Spare O-rings for the catch can cup. If the O-ring is lost, torn or if it's just time to replace it due to wear it's a good idea to have a couple of spares in the glove box. 5030 is the main dirty side catch can and 5043 is the clean side separator.

Q: What is the problem with your PCV system?
A: The Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system is used to recycle the gases that leak or "blow-by" the your engines piston rings and create a positive pressure in the crankcase. By venting these gases along with oil mist/vapor from the crankcase and route it back into the intake manifold so it can be burned off.
This is a poor fix from automobile manufacturers, because over time the excess oil vapor collects along the inside of the intake tract and forms a "sludge". This leads to a variety of issues including carbon build up, retarded timing, detonation, power loss and even engine failure.
UPR s fix for the PCV system used on many engines for reducing toxic gases from being released into the atmosphere and eliminating positive crankcase pressure / Blow-By.
